Classes meet in my Providence, RI Studio, October 5, 12, 19, 26, November 2, 9,and 16
Take the mystery out of sketching figures and faces during this 2 month introductory figure/portrait course. We will use a loose approach with watercolor, pencil, pen and ink. Lessons will include gesture, proportions, anatomy, value, color and line. Learn to work from your family photos and to sketch on the spot. Our focus will be on quantity rather than quality as we gain experience with the human form. Open to all level of experience.
Reserve your spot and attend as many classes as your schedule allows.
For New Students: If you would like to purchase a ready to use portable studio supply kit with the course, you can do so by choosing the “course with portable studio kit” option for $230. Otherwise find a list of suggested materials here. This option is available up to 4 weeks prior to the start of the course.
